Currently, we are seeking a Senior Energy Auditor to lead the energy efficiency team. Responsibilities BlueMap's clients are large operations such as food processing plants, commercial buildings, and laboratories. We need an experienced energy auditor that is familiar with how to gather data from these facilities, and accurately model current energy consumption as well as the impact of proposed efficiency measures. Of equal importance, as an emerging firm, our Senior Energy Auditor will inherently also be a senior executive. We will look to this person for opinions on business strategy, business development, and most of all clear management and training of junior team members. A desire to lead is critical. Qualifications The qualified individual should have experience with:
• Performing and documenting Energy Audits for commercial, institutional, and municipal customers.
• Assessing and implementing all types of energy efficiency projects, such as lighting, HVAC, building envelope, domestic hot water and energy equipment controls.
• Utility data bases including DEER and other M&V sources.
• Mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, and variable speed drives.
• HVAC equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and chilled and hot water loops.
• Standard energy calculation tools such as eQuest and bin data analyses.
• Also, a CA PE or LEED accredited professional is preferred. However, actual experience will be viewed as more important that various certifications.
